CANTV will market HomeWatch in Venezuela
Caracas, September 23, 2002.- HomeWatch, the residential video-surveillance and security solution based on the device-networking platform developed by Smartmatic, will be marketed in Venezuela by CANTV, the most important telecommunications company of this country.
The agreement signed between both companies contemplates Smartmatic's delivery of the solution ready to be used by CANTV. CANTV, a telecommunications service provider, will market HomeWatch among its clients and the public in general.
For CANTV, the alliance allows the company to widen its offer with novel services based on Internet, giving the final consumers an easy-to-use technology for home or office surveillance, from any part of the world, in real time, and at a reasonable cost.
