Robert Dobler leads our efforts to develop new business opportunities in Asia Pacific. He actively works with governments across the region in the modernization of their electoral processes. Since 2012, Robert has enjoyed a remarkable career in the company, rising through the ranks to his current position as President of Smartmatic for Asia Pacific.

Before he joined Smartmatic, Robert held regional management positions in leading global brands like DHL and Kuehne & Nagel. As a business owner, he managed operations for a 500-people venture in the Philippines.

Robert worked in business consulting in his native Germany before relocating in Singapore 15 years ago. As certified banker, he completed management training in one of Germany’s leading financial institutions. He holds a degree on business administration from the University of Munich.
