Mexico City, April 27, 2003.- Smartmatic, the device-networking solutions provider, formalized a marketing agreement with the Mexican company Inster, specialized in voice, data and image convergence networks.
The agreement was signed in Mexico by Jorge Varela, representing the Scanda Group, a group of companies that includes Inster, and Edgar Zorrilla VP of Sales, representing Smartmatic.
"It is an important step to consolidate our solutions for physical security and automation of facilities in the country. This was done after Santander-Serfin Bank acquired the AVTM module of SmartBank", states Zorrilla.
"The agreement with Scanda also includes the marketing of SmartBank, our solution for bank physical security, and USP, our unified security platform, both based on the device-networking Smartmatic Platform", says the executive.
