Scope

The arrangement of the entire infrastructure for the Referendum on Smartmatic’s side included 32.939 SAES3000, SAES3300 and SAES4000 voting machines deployed in 11.132 voting centers for 16.109.64 registered voters, out of which 99.3% were able to vote with the automated system.

Likewise, Smartmatic was in charge of the preparation, set up, installation and operation of all the voting centers, in order to ensure the well functioning of all the SAES machines during the electoral event, all the phone call services, back up centers and help desks necessary for the distribution of all the voting machines to the corresponding voting centers, the automated scrutinizing, tallying and transmission process, as well as the withdrawal of the electoral infrastructure.
